This heavy duty amp is a used Friedman Amplification Butterslax, a 100 watt signature head for Bill Kelliher of the almighty Mastodon. Based on the Brown Eye, the Butterslax is a 3-channel amp where channel 1 gives you cleans with slight break up, channel 2 designed to be the drive channel of the Brown Eye, and channel 3 is entitled “Disintegration” mode – where the gain goes past 11 and drives your riffs through the roof. This ‘Slax is in excellent condition with all features working as they should, and sounds awesome.
