Here’s a guitar we’ve been excited to receive in ever since it was announced! This is the limited edition ’76 Goldtop Deluxe modeled after a specific guitar Pete Townshend played (and destroyed, where it currently is displayed in the Victoria & Albert Museum). The ’76 Goldtop was modded by Pete to have a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the middle position with a blend volume knob, as well as an added toggle for controlling the middle humbucker. A very cool feature is the custom thumbwheel straplocks included with the guitar, and a tongue in cheek “break here” sticker right on the neck underneath the 8th fret.
