This is a pre-owned Hofner 120th Anniversary John Lennon Club 40, a guitar remodeled after the 1959 Club 40 that John Lennon used in the early days. The Club 40 is a short-scale guitar with a spruce top and maple back/sides, a rosewood fretboard, and a long single-coil in the neck position for clean, warm sounds great for rhythm playing. This guitar is #16 of 120 made, and is in very good condition with some light lacquer checking around the bass side of the neck pocket and around the electronics. The guitar has the certificate of authenticity included.
